Peter holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Sydney and is admitted to practice in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia as a solicitor. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of London, and holds a Certificate of Mediation approved by the Victorian Law Institute. Recently Peter was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance and is a member of both the International Bar Association and the Inter Pacific Bar Association.
With over 20 years experience as a barrister, solicitor and consultant practicing in Australia and overseas, Peter has extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His expertise extends to property, construction and related areas, including resolving contractual disputes, finance and banking disputes, patent and partnership disputes and insurance and environmental claims.
Peter also has a wide range of associated legal skills, including advising on and drafting complex project documentation such as joint ventures and other operational agreements and advising on professional indemnity and corporate governance issues. Peter is well regarded for his succinct, commercial, pragmatic and cost effective legal services.
